Antonio Cantero founder of the riding school

from Argentina to Italy ...

Antonio Cantero was born on October 15, 1965 in Corrientes, Argentina.

After a childhood spent in the field, and an adolescence spent riding the horses of grandfather Daniel Prieto and father Martin Miano Cantero; at sixteen he left his country and went to work in Buenos Aires as a trainer of polo horses. At eighteen he left for Italy, where he continued to train in the Polo, at the Argentario Polo Club and later at the Roma Polo Club.

During the eighties and nineties he engages in the main equestrian competitions of central Italy such as polo, jumping, gymkane, horseball, linear and poles; among which we mention the Palio di Tolfa and the Palio di Castel Madama.

Since 1996 Antonio has moved to Tuscany, in Trequanda, in the province of Siena. Now he works in Sinalunga at  SCUOLA CANTERO. The structure is equipped with a stable of nine boxes for horses and three boxes for Falabella, an 85 × 20 training ground.

The stable is located between the hills of the Val d’Orcia and the Crete Senesi, which offer the opportunity for walks and excursions among the most beautiful and evocative views of Italy.
