Description
Arcobaleno is a traditional stone house in a hilly and panoramic position with the typical rural architecture. In the past the Italian writer Vasco Pratolini lived here, and today it represent the ideal place to spend an holiday in an enchanted atmosphere, giving the feeling of having remained still in another era, at the quiet rhythms of a time that was.
The house is located on the slopes of Pratomagno, which stands out from the Arno valley and descends with wide natural terraces full of olive trees, until the road of the “Setteponti”, connecting the cities of Arezzo and Florence. The village of San Giustino Valdarno with restaurants, bars and shops is about 1 km away and can be easily reached on foot with an enchanting walk through vineyards and olive grow.
Maximum relax in the beautiful private swimming pool (mt. 10x4,5, depth mt. 1,40, completely fenced - open from 01st May to 30th September ) with solarium equipped with deckchairs, tables and sun umbrellas and in the gazebo overlooking the valley below. Where to spend relaxing days to read, eat outside or just to enjoy the landscape that is lost at a glance. Families will not fail to appreciate the children's play area and the tennis table; the little house with barbecue, wood oven and sink is ideal if you enjoy cooking and eating outdoors.
The owners Albina and Danilo, very attentive to the environment, have equipped the villa with photovoltaic panels for the production of electricity.
The villa is part of the owners' farm, consisting of about 4 hectares of beautiful olive groves that produce an excellent extra virgin olive oil of high organoleptic quality.
Interior description
GROUND FLOOR: large kitchen-dining room, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower.
FIRST FLOOR: accessible by an external staircase and panoramic terrace, sitting room, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower, two double bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom with shower.
All the 5 bedrooms and the dining room are endowed with wall fans.
ANNEX: living room with fireplace, bathroom (washbasin and wc), laundry room with iron facilities.
EQUIPMENT: washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, oven, microwave, highchair, filter coffee maker, toaster, DVD player, safe, hairdryer, mosquito nets, iron, kettle, mixer, table tennis, satellite TV, Wi-Fi Internet access, fans, children playground, rocking chair.

Private pool is open from 01/05 to 30/09.
Swimming towels.
Cleaning of the house at the end of each week (for multiple weeks bookings).

One baby bed (for children up to 3 years) on request at time of booking.
NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 300 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 180.
Heating Euro 9 per m3 (if used).
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 5 each per day.
Tourist Tax Euro 1 per person per day, applied for the first 5 days only, children up to 12 years do not pay.
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
The perfect getaway in Tuscany!
I stayed at the villa with 6 friends, and it was the perfect getaway in tuscany! The view from the villa is absolutely stunning. We had everything we needed, and Francesca was super helpful - she even scheduled us a taxi to get to a wedding as there are no ubers in the area. Lots of space for a big group, and in a beautiful and quiet area of tuscany. I hope to come back!
Heaven in Toscana!
Heaven in Toscana! Quiet location in the forest and olive garden but at the same time easy accessible small town with shops and restaurants. Possible hiking trails and spectacular views! Owner is very friendly and proactive. We will certainly come back here!
Wonderful stay in Arcobaleno!!
We had a wonderful vacation in Tuscany for 3 weeks in July 2024 with 8 adults and 4 children. After a warm welcome from Francesca and her father, we really enjoyed our time in the beautiful house with breathtaking views over the valley to the Chianti mountains. We were relaxing under the shady trees and had lots of fun in the well-kept pool. Excursions to Arezzo, Florence, Siena and Perugia and into the mountains provided plenty of variety. Ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Ferienhaus in traumhafter Lage.Sehr nette, freundliche Gastgeber . Pool und Garten wurden täglich am Morgen gepflegt. Dieses Haus kann man nur empfehlen. Die Ausstattung war komplett. Wir hatten 2 tolle Wochen in dem Traumhaus, nur zu empfehlen. Gerhard
