Description
If you have imagined your holiday immersed in the Tuscan countryside, if your dream is to wake up in the morning, open the windows and find yourself surrounded by golden sunflowers and ears of corn, Il Viaggiolo is the house for you. From your windows, from the garden, from the swimming pool you will have, as far as the eye can see, cultivated fields, vineyards, olive groves and rolling hills that change colour with the seasons.
Here and there are ancient villages rich in history and tradition. One of these is Marciano della Chiana (3 km), dominated by its castle, over which the mighty tower stands like a grim sentinel, majestically overlooking the valley below. You could do your shopping in grocery stores and supermarkets in Foiano della Chiana, also about 3 km away.
Il Viaggiolo is an old farmhouse that in recent years has regained its original beauty. The wooden beams, the warm colours used and the stylish furniture give it a cosy and comfortable atmosphere that will make you feel immediately comfortable and welcome. The farmhouse will be the ideal place for your family holidays, the outdoor space, large and safe, will allow your children to run and explore while you enjoy an aperitif by the pool. Or even if you are travelling in a group, Il Viaggiolo will provide you with large and comfortable space for dinners with your friends, or it can also serve as a starting point for your trips to discover the villages and cities of art in central Italy.
The farmhouse is surrounded by a large garden shaded by tall trees, decorated with pots and flowers and equipped with table, chairs, umbrellas, swing and barbecue. Under the large centuries-old oak tree, to the side of the house, there is a small corner designed for relaxing with a good book or for an evening chat with friends and a glass of wine. The beautiful 5 x 10 m swimming pool (depth 1.40 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), for your exclusive use, has sunbeds and umbrellas and a comfortable bathroom with shower. Two covered parking spaces are also available.

Interior description
GROUND FLOOR: living-dining room with kitchen corner, fireplace and single sofa bed, double bedroom with added single bed, wc (washbasin, water-closet, bidet).
FIRST FLOOR: reachable either from inner or outer staircase, living-dining room with kitchen corner and fireplace, two double bedrooms, single bedroom, two bathrooms with shower.
On ground floor, on the pool side, there are a bathroom with shower and a laundry.
Thanks to its own characteristics (two independent entrances and two kitchens) the house is ideal to accommodate also two families who wish to spend their holidays together, yet maintaining their own privacy.

Breakage deposit Euro 250 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.

Heating Euro 6 per m3 (if used).
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 5 each per day.
Wood for fireplace Euro 15 each 100 kg (if used).
Tourist tax Euro 1 per person per day applied for the first 5 days only. Children up to 14 years do not pay.
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Outstanding villa
Il Viaggiolo is an outstanding villa. It is perfectly equipped and well suited for large families. The property is divided into three separate sections so retains its privacy. The huge private gardens and pool are beautiful. There are plenty of tables and chairs, ideal for outdoor dining. The views from the villa are breathtaking, surrounded by fields of sunflowers. The villa owner Pietro and his family are so friendly, kind and helpful. Although they do not live on-site Pietro attended most days to either clean the pool, empty outdoor bins or tend to his bees from his nearby hives. He was accessible without being overbearing. The villa's location is quite remote, being about 10 to 15 minutes drive from the nearest large town. However, a small supermarket and patisserie are within a five minutes drive. Like many Tuscan properties the villa does not have any air-conditioning, however there are plenty of fans in the property. A private winding driveway leads from the main road to the villa. Take care when entering the long driveway as the entrance way is narrow and located between a culvet. The biggest compliment we can give is that we would love to return to the villa and would recommend it unreservedly.

What a great house and what a wonderful homeowner! The 78-year-old Pietro came every day to inspect the pool and loves to chat with guests. The house is completely free among fields of sunflowers. We enjoyed ourselves!
Excellent location
We had stayed in the region before so we knew Foiana and surroundings. it is an excellent location with lots of large towns within 30 minutes to an hour away The house was outstanding. Really well furnished with all the comforts of home. It comfortably accommodated 8 of us. The downstairs is like a separate apartment and upstairs had a large sitting room/kitchen area. The WiFI was excellent also which kept the kids happy. The swimming pool is a really nice size and everyone loved it. The owners were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. The location is excellent and near a main road. There are great restaurants very nearby. We had a great time here, we would definitely return.

Surrounded by sunflower fields, this villa is in a great location (about 10 mins off motorway) making sights of Tuscany readily accessible. About 5 minute drive into Cesa or 10 into Foiana both of which have bakeries, shops, restaurants. Many thanks to Bernardino and family for looking after us.

Casa bella e ben tenuta
La casa è molto bella e ben tenuta. La descrizione non rende merito alla realtà perché manca il valore aggiunto che viene dalla disponibilità del padrone di casa e di sua moglie che sono sempre pronti a venire incontro ad ogni esigenza. La casa, sia all’interno che all’esterno, è spaziosa e fornita di tutto quello che serve. La piscina è perfetta, sia come dimensioni che come attrezzatura visto che ci sono molti lettini e ombrelloni. La casa è circondata da campi di girasoli ma non risulta troppo isolata pur garantendo massima privacy. La macchina è indispensabile ma a pochi minuti di strada si trova tutto ciò che serve e in poco tempo è possibile raggiungere moltissimi luoghi di interesse. Una vacanza meravigliosa. Consigliatissimo!
Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen
Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, man erreicht es über einen Kiesweg. Alles wurde uns sehr sauber von den Besitzern übergeben. Auch der Pool ist traumhaft und es sind genügend Liegen vorhanden. Pietro und seine Frau sind wunderbare Gastgeber die sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert haben. Als, zum Beispiel, ein Ventilator nicht mehr funktionierte organisierte er innerhalb von einer halben Stunde einen neuen. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa casa in 9 persone adulte per l’ultimo dell’anno. Splendida accoglienza da parte dei proprietari ,al nostro arrivo ci hanno accolto con panettoni, spumante, camino acceso e casa riscaldata Si sono dimostrati da subito molto disponibili L’immobile corrisponde esattamente alla descrizione riportata nell’inserzione. Anche in 9 persone non abbiamo avuto problemi di nessun genere. Consiglio vivamente a chi vuole trascorrere una vacanza con un gruppo di amici godendo di un’ assoluta privacy
