Description
Villa de Michelangioli is the Leopoldina villa par excellence, located in a panoramic position between Arezzo and Cortona. From the top of the gentle hill on which it sits, you can enjoy the thousands of colours the countryside has to offer, from the yellow of the sunflowers to the gold of the wheat and the green of the vineyards.
Its position offers you the possibility to easily reach the main historical and cultural localities of central Italy, such as: Florence, Siena, Perugia, Montepulciano, Assisi, Gubbio. It is also located a few kilometres from the village of Foiano della Chiana, where you will find shops, typical restaurants and services of all kinds.
Like all the Leopoldine villas, the villa, with its typical 'colombaia' (dovecote), will give you back the flavour of times gone by, when the 'podere' was still the fulcrum of peasant civilisation, when life flowed more slowly, far from the frenetic rhythms of today's society.
The villa has 2 splendid swimming pools: a heated indoor pool with hydro-massage and counter-current swimming (size 3x5 m. - depth m. 1,00) and an outdoor pool (size 6x12 m. - depth m. 1,20-2,20 - open from 01 May to 30 September). The indoor swimming pool makes the villa perfect for your holidays even in the coldest periods, but even in summer you will be spoilt for choice, whether to spend a relaxing day on the sunbeds of the outdoor solarium with gazebo, or to take a refreshing swim in the indoor pool. For total relaxation, you can also make use of the sauna (sauna and indoor pool are paid services).
The green park, with Italian-style gardens, offers 360-degree panoramic views, a pergola equipped with armchairs and sofas for enjoying aperitifs in company and a fantastic glass veranda equipped for eating your meals in front of a fantastic panorama.
The villa offers excellent finishes and high-level furnishings and is the ideal place if you are looking for a luxury holiday with every comfort. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi Internet access, satellite TV, a mini bar and a hairdryer, and the building has a lift.
Breakfast and dinner can be booked on request.

The villa is on 3 levels and is provided with a lift.
GROUND FLOOR: wide living room, dining room with access to the veranda equipped with tables and chairs, professional kitchen, toilet (WC and washbasin), double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. Hall with internal heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi, counter-current swimming (size 3x5 m. - depth 1,00 m.) and sauna. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
FIRST FLOOR: with access either through internal staircase or lift, 4 double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and 2 suites each with double bedroom and en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath.
ATTIC: columbarium tower with access through internal staircase, 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.

Breakage deposit Euro 1.500 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.

Obligatory final cleaning Euro 350.
Internal private pool and sauna available the whole year on payment of Euro 400.
Heating Euro 0,50 per Kw (if used).
Air conditioning Euro 0,50 per Kw (if used).
Tourist Tax Euro 1 per person per day, applied for the first 7 days only, children up to 14 years do not pay.
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Fantastic house
House was fantastic! Well appointed kitchen, great bathrooms and kitchen. Great ac and the showers were great. My family loved both the outside pool as well as the inside one! Elevator was a bonus!
Perfect spot!
Villa Michelangioli is a fantastic villa, the interior is very well organised, the outdoor pool in a great location and the indoor pool perfect for swimming. The furnished veranda is also fantastic, we ate outside all the time!
